Sponsorship to local Wheelchair Basketball star, Joe Williams

Sureguard Window Films (R) have provided sponsorship support to local Wheelchair Basketball star, Joe Williams.

Joe was part of St Paul’s Cathedral special service, Courage & Faith, which celebrated the Paralympic Games prior to the start of the games.  Joe was also involved in the Paralympic Games opening ceremony in the Olympic Stadium, with the GB Under 22 team proudly bring the Paralympic Games flag into the stadium with his team mates prior to it being raised by members of the Armed Forces.

Joe has been busy over the year playing 1st, 3rd and Super League Basketball for the Sheffield Steelers. The team became 3rd division champions by winning their league with Joe as the top scorer. Joe has been training really hard and had the fantastic opportunity of being taken to Milan with the Super League team to play in the European challenge cup in which they were also victorious.  Also, more recently, to Germany, to take part in the EuroLeague.  Well done to Joe & his team mates, keep it up!!!

Privacy with Style

Whether they are in your home, a hotel room, a conservatory, an office building or a school, windows are our view to the outside world bringing light, colour and interest into the room. But the majority of windows you will look through are a two-way street allowing passers-by to see straight into the room beyond. If privacy is important to you then privacy window film is a brilliant option and something you may wish to consider.

What will privacy film do for me?

http://www.sureguard.co.uk/window-film/privacy-film/The clue is really in the name; once installed privacy window film prevents people seeing in through the glass. There are many different types and styles of privacy films available right now and many will allow you an uninterrupted view of the outside world whilst ensuring nobody on the outside of the building can see in.

Another popular option would be to fit a film with a pattern, or even a splash of colour. You can find stained glass films that will obscure the view of those looking in (although there will also alter what you see when looking out).

Daylight Privacy Film

For privacy from prying eyes during daylight hours then choose a film with daylight privacy qualities. These films work by reacting to various light conditions to flood the pane and make it appear reflective, like a mirror. On the inside of the window the view outside is not altered in any way.

Total Privacy Film

Many buildings, particularly offices, prefer to have the view through their windows obscured 24/7 so total privacy film is required. Vision is often blocked on both sides of the window though, although if you choose the right colour you will still benefit from daylight pouring through the glass.

Why choose Privacy Window Film?

Installing new windows to any building requires significant financial outlay but the good news is you can fit window film retrospectively to your existing window panes, meaning expenditure is kept to a minimum. Our team are on hand to guide you through the selection process and we offer privacy film to both commercial and domestic customers.
